After studying business administration in Hanover, Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel and Paris, Lothar Hiese began his professional career in the French subsidiary of the tyre manufacturer Continental AG near Paris where he worked for four and a half years. At the end of the 1980s, he worked as an executive in medium-sized companies in various sectors (consumer goods/retail/FMCG, services, manufacturing industry) in the functional areas of controlling, finance, sales/marketing, and, since the end of the 1990s, mainly in a board function.
Since the foundation of MSP in 2001, Lothar Hiese has primarily been active in situations characterised by pronounced changes in Germany and abroad. These have included CRO roles as an organ in restructuring contexts as well as the management of projects critical for success as a project manager or programme manager. As a CRO (Chief Restructuring Officer), Lothar Hiese has been involved in 15 assignments in his independent capacity thus far. These lasted from nine months to three years in each case.
Lothar Hiese is fluent in English and French, has special training as a restructuring manager, is a Prince2 certified project manager and has worked abroad for almost 10 years.
