After studying business administration at the ESB Business School in Germany and Great Britain, Dirk Otto spent the first four years of his career with The Boston Consulting Group in various international project contexts.
Thereafter Dirk Otto worked for 5 years for Bally Management AG, CH. In addition to his function as the managing director of the Spanish subsidiary, Dirk Otto successfully managed various group projects directly reporting to the CEO.
After founding MSP in 2001, Dirk Otto worked as a project or line manager at management level on critical assignments in the consumer goods, retail, FMCG and manufacturing industry. In 2009/2010, Dirk Otto completed a specialized training as a restructuring manager.
Between 2013 and 2023, Dirk Otto served as the general manager in his own family business group and successfully transformed the company strategically as well as operationally. Additionally he signed responsible for all shareholder projects.
Passionately, Dirk Otto now supports family businesses and their shareholder circles, especially in conflict situations and within succession contexts.
With his extensive background as a designated company successor, now a seventh-generation family business owner, manager and consultant in various other enterprises, as well as his seven-year participation in supervision seminars in the field of (family) system constellations, Dirk Otto can draw on relevant experiences.
