After graduating in management engineering and mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Andreas Theis began his professional career in 1985 at the federally owned investment company DEG, first as a developer of application software for investment controlling (creditworthiness analyses, ERP), then as Investment Officer for the Middle East. He held this role for six and a half years.
In 1991, Andreas Theis moved to the M&A department of Ruhrkohle AG (now EVONIK AG) to transform the domestic mining group into an internationally diversified holding company. As commercial managing director, Theis consolidated the bulk logistics activities of the group under a holding company in the second half of the 1990s and significantly increased their profitable growth.
In 2002, Andreas Theis moved into the field of management consultancy, where he has since completed 35 restructurings as a commercial interim manager, CFO, CRO, liquidator, business consultant or investor and creditor expert. Andreas Theis has been an MSP partner since 2019. He is fluent in English and has been working internationally since the beginning of his professional career.
