Professional career

While studying steel engineering at Munich University of Applied Sciences, Dr. Lugert worked for Professor Wildemann as a temporary student employee at management consultancy TCW.

He then studied business administration at postgraduate level at Munich Technical University.

From 2002 to 2005, he completed a doctorate in corporate management under Prof. Wildemann at Munich Technical University.

From 1999 to 2005, he worked as a project manager and later divisional manager at TCW Management Consulting GmbH & Co. KG, Munich. His consulting remits covered the automotive supply, electronics, and food industries, among others.

From 2006 to 2007, he was a key account manager at ROI Management Consulting AG, Munich. He led several consulting teams, each with 3-4 employees. His focal areas were postmerger integration, cost-cutting and process optimisation projects in the engineering and high-tech industries.

Since the end of 2007, he has been a selfemployed consultant/project manager.
