Professional career
After obtaining a diploma in banking at Vereins- und Westbank AG in Hamburg, Mr. Hansen studied business administration at the University of Bayreuth. As part of the course, he completed internships abroad, including at Shanghai Volkswagen Ltd. in Anting, China. He then took tax accountancy exams.
He started his professional career in tax accountancy at KPMG Deutsche Treuhandgesellschaft AG, focusing on tax accounting for international companies and due diligence projects. He then switched to auditing and joined Nörr Stiefenhofer Lutz Partnerschaftsgesellschaft, where he concentrated on consulting on small and medium-sized enterprises, the capital market and restructuring. In April 2006, he became self-employed as a director-shareholder of Hansen TreuConsult GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft Steuerberatungsgesellschaft.
Since then, he has set up and expanded the activities of this company, forming an extensive and long-standing network of company owners/ managers, banks, funds and consultancies. His work focuses on customised, personal support.
